Removing dead, dying and broken branches, pruning for shape and airflow and trimming off flower heads that have come and gone, are all ways that hand pruning, and deadheading will help to keep your plants thriving year-round. Marcelo and the Madrona team built a rock retaining wall and brick patio for us 12 years ago. They did a great job and it looks like new today. In March 2023, they updated our old cement steps with bluestone/brick overlay and installed granite slab steps to the backyard.
